Natural Allergy Treatment.
If your little one suffers with allergic rhinitis (hay fever) you’ll be glad to learn about a natural allergy relief formula that contains homeopathics and herbs proven to ease allergic reactions.
This natural allergy relief remedy can improve your respiratory health and help you lead an allergy-free life. But before we tell you more about it let’s take a moment and talk about allergies and certain common allergens.
Allergies include a wide array of symptoms that affect people in different ways. Depending on the type of allergen, the level of exposure and each person’s immune system response, the allergic reaction varies form mild to acute.
Allergies occur when a person’s immune system is sensitive to certain substances that your immune system perceives as a threat; usually these substances are innocuous. Common allergies and symptoms can be difficult to isolate as sufferers from airborne allergies often have multiple allergies.
What are Some of the Common Allergens?
Outdoor allergens include pollen, mold, grasses and air pollution while indoor allergens can be pet dander, chemicals, clothing, synthetic materials such as latex, and cigarette smoke which has more than 4000 chemical compounds making it toxic to the human body.
Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) is caused by inflammation in the membranes of the nose lining. Common symptoms include sore eyes, a runny nose and difficulty breathing. Pollen and mold cause the most symptoms.
Birch tree allergies are common to people who suffer from hay fever and the closer you are to the source of the pollen, the worse your reaction will be. The most severe reactions occur within twenty feet. Cherry wood allergies cause less severe symptoms, as do other hard woods such as oak. Here’s a useful hint … when planning your garden avoid soft wood trees!
The second most common airborne pollutant is mold. Mold is actually microscopic fungi that occur in damp conditions indoors (eg. basements and bathrooms), as well as outdoors in soil and damp compost.
Another indoor airborne pollutant is house dust, which contains fibers from carpets and particles of pollen. Unfortunately, airborne allergies are hard to avoid as we have limited control over the air we breathe. However, there are some actions that can be taken to reduce exposure to foreign substances.
What can I do in my Home to Help My child with Allergies?
To the extent possible …
- Avoid carpet allergies by reducing the amount of carpet in your home; consider using hard wood or tiled floors and natural fiber rugs instead .
- Mop floor surfaces frequently with water and bleach or vinegar.
- Use a HEPA filter in every room where you spend a lot of time.
- Replace the use of common chemical household cleaning products with water and vinegar.
- Cover your mattress with a cotton sheet and wash, along with pillows, frequently to inhibit mold growth.
